The Curiosity Approach

Here at Frisby Pre-school we are working towards accreditation in The Curiosity Approach.

The Curiosity Approach is a modern day approach to early childhood, taking it's influences from Regio, Steiner, Te Whariki and Montessori.

​

Bringing curiosity, awe and wonder into early childhood and creating the 'thinkers and doers' of the future. We provide children with open-ended resources and loose parts with which the children can construct, take apart, transport and combine with other materials. This encourages problem solving and decision making with a completely child-centred focus.

We also proved the children with authentic resources to enable them to explore and investigate.

The setting contains intriguing artifacts and displays, mirrors, fairy lights and attention to detail in calm and neutral tones, offering a magical touch to the children's environment.
